Being a new home owner, I have slowly been filling up the tool shed with anything that can make working in the yard a little easier and faster. I was hesitant on purchasing an electric powered leaf blower because I thought (wrongly) that to have MORE POWER and to be reliable, it must have an engine and be LOUD. The lawnmower doesn’t work great in that aspect and proves you need the right tool for the job. It takes me no longer to plug this into my extension cord and take care of my entire driveway and carport. It gets the job done done BETTER and FASTER. Even all that stuff that gets stepped on, run over and ground in has not been able to hold on tight enough to withstand the hurricane force winds of my Toro leaf blower. For anyone that has ever tried sweeping pine needles off asphalt then you know the hassle that is. My broom callous has disappeared thanks to this!! Furthermore, gravel from the salt trucks this winter left a mess at the bottom of my driveway and I thought I would have to sweep those off to the side. Wrong. This was able to handle that as well as I was blowing off the grass clippings.

All this without the noise and smoke and cost and fuel and oil and maintenance of another engine to deal with. When you pick it up the weight lets you know it’s not cheaply made but it’s also not heavy enough that anyone would blame its weight as an excuse not to use it. Heh-heh-heh. After 2 seasons now, I can tell you that I have had absolutely no problems from this and I can’t say that about everything else in the tool shed that’s gas powered. Also, no tools are needed to assemble the attachments and they stay put. Every part seems well made and I believe that I’ll still be using this for many years down the road.

Since it is a leaf blower/vac I guess I should mention how it handles those…LEAVES DON’T STAND A CHANCE.
